Three numbers. Three different jobs.
An estimate is what you expect to spend. A confirmed cost is the total you have agreed. Paid so far is money you have recorded as paid—not the value of your bookings.
Keeping these separate helps you see a realistic wedding total without treating a deposit as the whole bill.
From a quote to a payment date.
Compare supplier quotes, choose the one you want in your plan and keep scheduled payments beside the work they relate to. Add a custom deadline when your wedding date is still undecided.
Choosing a quote does not book the supplier. Recording a payment does not transfer money or connect to your bank; it updates your journal.
A simple example.
Suppose your venue costs £4,800 and you have paid a £1,000 deposit. Your confirmed venue cost stays £4,800, paid so far is £1,000 and the unpaid balance is £3,800. These are illustrative figures, not UK average prices.
Budget planning is included in Planner. Complete adds live invitation links and guest RSVPs; you do not need Complete just to organise your money.
